The historian, author and broadcaster, Dan Snow will be giving a talk about the history of the Royal Navy, to accompany the series currently going out on BBC2. Essentially it will explain why Britain became the world’s most powerful navy and the impact that had on Britain and the worldDan also talks on his recently published book on the fall of Quebec in 1759, one of the decisive moments of British imperial history.
